Your workspace

The workspace is the private area where your notes, copied Open Notes, folders, Course lessons, and learning material live. The global sidebar provides access to your notes, Courses, Study, Library, Connect, and account settings.

Organization tools

• Folders group notes by project, subject, or course.
• Favorites keep frequently used notes close at hand.
• Collections provide another way to group notes across the workspace.
• Archive and trash separate inactive material from your current working set.
• Data views and search help you inspect and filter your note collection.

Search effectively

1. Start with a distinctive title word or subject.
2. Narrow the result with a folder, collection, or view.
3. Open the note and use its references or Library entries to continue research.
