Use note context to draft, transform, and study material.
What AI can do
- Generate or expand note content from a prompt.
- Rewrite or develop selected block content with block-level AI.
- Create summaries, quizzes, and flashcards from note material.
- Generate infographics and other structured learning blocks where the relevant tool is available.
- Translate note content and use source context such as YouTube transcripts, references, or attached material.
How context works
AI requests are grounded in the note or block you are working on. Depending on the tool, the request can also include nearby note content, course guidance, uploaded material, references, or a retrieved transcript. Treat generated text as a draft: check facts, scope, and citations before publishing or studying it.
A practical workflow
- Add or write source material first.
- Select the block or open the note-level AI action.
- Describe the result you want and keep the request specific.
- Review the output, edit it in the block editor, and save the version you trust.
- Generate a summary, quiz, or flashcards only after the note has enough reliable context.
Note. AI generation consumes usage according to the current plan. Exact limits and availability are shown in the in-app pricing and account views.
Limitations
- AI can be incomplete or incorrect; it does not replace review.
- A short or poorly sourced note produces less useful context.
- Some generation tools are subscription-gated and may be rate-limited.
- Generated images and learning blocks can need manual cleanup before publication.
