What a Course is

A Course is a managed sequence of lessons. Each lesson is a note, while the Course stores the learning goal, lesson order, and course-level guidance used when generating or expanding lessons.

Create a Course

1. Open Courses and choose the create flow.
2. Enter a topic, goal, or starting material.
3. Use the AI plan generator when you want R-report to propose a lesson sequence.
4. Review the plan, then generate or add lessons individually.
5. Open a lesson to edit its blocks, reorder lessons, and study the course when it is ready.

Existing material and templates

Course creation can use existing notes or material as a starting point. The codebase also contains template-driven course generation for selected educational destinations, including Japanese kanji and middle-school content. Those are product-specific generation paths, not a promise that every topic has a dedicated template.

Learning through a Course

• Use the Course study view to move through lessons.
• Lesson progress feeds the Study experience where supported.
• Edit generated lessons like any other note before relying on them.
